New arrivals!

The babies are here! Lauras temp dropped right on time this am:-)) We did the section about 12pm and out came three beautiful babies! There are two black boys and one black girl, all very nicely marked and very big/healthy (weights range from just over 1lb-13oz). Laura is being a wonderful mom and took right to the babies. I'm so looking forward to these pups!:-)) Help me think of a theme PLEASE! I've been dawdling trying to think of one but with three babies I think they must have a theme (never done one before). So all you in blogger land please help...

  1. I just recently found your blog so I'm behind the curve. Who are the parents of the litter (registered names)? Sometimes that helps develop a theme.

  2. DC Cornerstone's My Dear Beli(many herding titles) and Ch Cornerstone Laura of Kastan HSAs, Beli is my wondermous heart dog and means the world to me (if you could'nt tell) and was the first to gain many herding titles...I'm not proud of him though:-))

  5. (((hugs))) I am just so glad you have healthy pups! Now to think of a theme... you had snow in Florida this winter so why not a winter theme?

  6. How about citrus fruit? Since there are three, it could be done. Congrats on your babes!

  8. Love those big full collars! I immediately thought of "crazy" because of your new blog title - you can do "crazy for you" or "crazy love" or "crazy horse" or any number of them. So glad all went well and we'll be following you tomorrow!

  9. I've been playing around with a Dancing with the Stars theme lately - so many great dance names. I'm partial to the title of a Cole Porter song - A Little Rumba Numba.

OK so I've got Citrus, Winter,Crazy.., Dancing with the Stars...I do like the Rumba...Hmmm, I also had someone suggest the 3 fates but I need specific names (I'm very unimaginitive)

  12. Congratulations, Amy! I am so glad mum is doing well.

I like the idea of a citrus theme but have no idea how that would translate to call names extra. Cornerstone Valencia - call name Val? Or Cornerstone Ambersweet - call name Amber.

I am having a tough time with the male names. Maybe switch to Grapefruit; they are more masculine! Cornerstone Ruby Red or Cornerstone Flame.

I was just on the Florida Juice web site trying to think of names. Other grapefruit types are Duncan, Marsh, Thompson....

  13. Thats great Julie! Actually kennel name would be Raglan but those are really great names! I was hesitant about citrus but that could work! Hamelin, Clemintine, Sunburst, Star Ruby, Murcotte or Honey and I like Marsh too. Winter/snow I can't do because I have some very special names that I want to use for blues that are that theme.
All the puppies should be staying in FL too...

  14. Raglan Ruby Red-Ruby
    Raglan Sunburst-Ben (don't know why)
    Raglan Sweet Sambo-Sam/Sambo

I really like these three, but will wait for naming honors until they are at least 10 days old, I really don't want to jinx it!

  15. D'oh! I wasn't thinking that it would be Raglan. My bad.

I like those three a lot. It would be very appropriate and sweet!

  16. No problem! Thanks to both you and Sharrie for the great ideas! Now I just need them to get through the critical time and we can officially give them names:-))
