September 11

No puppy pics today. Our prayers and thoughts go out to all those who lost loved ones on 9-11-01. A sad day in American history and a day of mourning and unity for those of us still here. Prayers to the soldiers overseas and around the world as well.

Cuteness overload!

Well it was a bit rainy this afternoon so the puppies and I had our playdate indoors. They got to romp around my room and mess things up:-)) They are getting so cute and fun, though as always lots of work too! I hope that you all enjoy these pics, virtual puppy breath coming at you!

Everyday is a new day!

When you are a puppy and you've never seen anything except mom and the inside of my bedroom... The babies got another trip outside in the shade, they still weren't real happy but it was really hot outside too. They felt better after they got a little lunch though:-))

Grass? The puppies got their first taste of grass today. They had a great time for 10 min. tasting, romping in and playing on the grass.

Puppy playpen

I would love to hear more ideas for my puppy playpen. I will post a pic a little later but... so far I have a "potty" area with shavings, a tunnel(made from drain boxes without lids hooked together), a "swing" made from drain pipe hung from the roof over and concrete blocks to jump and crawl through. There is also an area in one corner that has pavers stacked so they can climb different heights. The area is 11'X22' so is pretty big, it can grow while they do. It is covered with pavers except for the potty area and I will need to keep it that way. Last time I had large like 65gal pots partially buried to run into and climb on but the dirt was unbearable! So any and all ideas are welcome!

The Weed

Happy Birthday to Evy, she was the first blue girl in my first litter and my first bred-by HXAs! My pretty blue weed or the Weedy as she comes to:-)) I'm so thankful I kept her, she has taught me so much, thanks E., happy #7, I hope for many more!
